《可再生能源法》出台 拓宽中国清洁能源市场

        2005年2月28日，第十届全国人大常委会第十四次会议以高票正式通过了《中华人民共和国可再生能源法》，这比预计中程序提前了约4个月，该法自2006年1月1日起实施。《可再生能源法》的通过，对促进可再生能源的开发利用、增加能源供应、改善能源结构、保障能源安全、保护环境、实现中国经济社会的可持续发展，具有十分重大的意义。

Sustainable Agriculture Project Launched by joint efforts of Italy and China in Chongming Island, Shanghai

On March 2, 2005, the Implementation Agreement to Promote Green Agriculture and Develop Organic Farming System and Technology at Dongtan, Chongming Island was signed between the Italian Ministry of Environment and Territory (IMET) and Shanghai Environment Protection Bureau (Shanghai EPB).

        2005年3月2日，上海市环保局和意大利环境与领土部正式签署 “促进崇明东滩绿色农业 发展有机农业系统与技术”的项目实施协议，这是在 2004年1月24日上海市环保局和意大利环境与领土部签署的“崇明岛可持续发展协议” 框架下展开的可持续农业合作项目。项目自2005年3月2日起开始实施，为期36个月，标志着中意双方在上海的可持续农业合作正式启动。中、意项目执行机构分别为上海实业东滩投资开发（集团）有限公司和意大利都灵大学农业环境创新能力中心。该项目预算总投资2,340,648欧元，全部由意大利环境与领土部捐赠。

Italian Delegation “Leader de Future” Visited Chinese Academy of Social Sciences

On the afternoon of Feb 28, 2005, the Italian delegation “Leader de Future” composed of young entrepreneurs paid a visit to Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).

CASS attached high importance to the visit and a symposium was held at the Institute of Quantitative and Technical Economics (IQTE), CASS to host the Italian visitors. On the symposium, Professor Li Ping, deputy director of IQTE delivered a speech titled Chinese Economy Outlook and the Major Projects Raised by Economic Reform. Professor Li introduced China's macro economy and analyzed the reasons for the high growth rate of Chinese economy. Carbon Sequestration transaction boosts international cooperation on the forestation market in China

On February 17, 2005, the project Youth Forestation Project against Desertification in the Aohan Qi of North-east China was signed between China State Forestation Administration (SFA) and Italian Ministry for the Environment and Territory (IMET). This is the first carbon sequestration project in China, following the validation of Kyoto Protocol, which dispels the uncertainty of international community about the carbon sequestration transaction system.
